Your frame of mind is the most important factor in how you understand and respond to a situation. Learn how your mindset can help protect your wellbeing, manage stress and stay resilient.

Wednesday 22 October, 10am

Communication

Communication is a powerful tool. Join us for practical advice on using body language, tone and words to manage challenging situations in store, on the phone and while lone working.

Thursday 23 October, 10am

Reset

In this final session, we offer practical tools to help regulate emotions, reset between interactions and protect your long-term wellbeing.

Moira Marshall CPsychol

Head of wellbeing

Driven by a passion for helping people navigate change and challenges with positive support, Moira brings a rich background as a counselling psychologist, along with experience in employee assistance programmes EAP and employee wellbeing across UK, South Africa and global markets. Now, as head of wellbeing at the Retail Trust, she applies her expertise and enthusiasm to lead with impact—drawing on her skills as a counsellor, coach, mentor, trainer, and consultant.

Jason Keeley

Managing director

Jason Keeley is managing director at IKON Training, an organisation that exists to help people feel safe, confident and supported at work, especially when dealing with conflict or challenging behaviour.

Jason leads IKON with a clear belief: that training should always put people first. Drawing on his own background and experiences, he understands the pressures that staff face and the toll that abusive behaviour can take. Dan Craig

Wellbeing trainer

Dan is a health and wellbeing specialist with 13 years of experience, serving as a clinical physiologist and practitioner in a range of settings from clinical rehabilitation, to the workplace.

Having previously worked for organisations including AXA Health and Champion Health, Dan has devoted his career to helping individuals transform their health. With a special interest in sleep improvement and stress management, Dan currently works with the Retail Trust team delivering industry-leading training courses to employees in their workplaces.

Our skills training focusses on the tools you need to feel safer at work — both physically and mentally. This time round, the sessions focus on your mindset, communication and ways you can reset after an incident. The content is in shorter, easy-to-digest sessions, with key takeaway videos that are exclusive to you when you register. When you attend, you’ll learn practical tools that you can put in to practice straight away, supported by the latest research and insights from our guest speaker, Jason from IKON Training.
